Freud’s definition of region is universal obsessional neurosis. People have no reason to believe in any deities such as God or Buddha because there is no actual proof that they really exist. Religion is also delusional because it will not pass the scientific method. It is impossible to prove scientifically that the religious beliefs are correct. Based on Freud’s definition, I may be a neurosis person. I worship Buddha, go to the Thai temple, and follow most of his teachings. I pray to Buddha in order to give me hope and to wish that Buddha will help me get through all the problems that I will have to face.
